Gum Tragacanth Substitute
Sugarcel is the brand name for a fine edible powder which is used by sugarcrafters as a substitute for Gum Tragacanth. It can be added to sugarpaste to create a tough modelling paste which can be rolled out super thin and sets hard, making it ideal for models and sugrcraft flowers.
Sugarcel can also be added to Royal Icing, together with vegetable fat, to create a very pliable flower paste.
You only need to use small quantities to get the desired result, so this little pot will go a long way!
