Celtic Quaich
Today the quaich is used for sharing the 'water of life' (whisky) at Wedding celebrations throughout Scotland. Derived from the Galeic 'cruach' meaning 'shallow cup' the design of a shallow drinking bowl with two handles has remained unchanged over the centuries.
The tradition is for the bride to fill the Wedding cup and pass it around all the guests in celebration.
3.5 inches in diameter, which is the measurement of the bowl not including handles.
Supplied in a silk lined box.
