For a bluebell make a Mexican hat shape, thin the edges and cut out the shape. Insert the end of a greased paint brush or modelling tool and pushing the tool against your thumb rotate the flower until a cone forms in the centre. Place on a foam pad and using the pointed end of a veining tool mark a line down the centre of each petal. Roll the edges of these petal back over a cocktail stick to make a pleasing bell shape.
You can now thread through prepared stamens to make wired flowers for a Spring flower arrangement.
