The Sword of Aragorn
This is a mighty sword and makes for an impressive cake cutting ceremony. Another Lord of the Rings replica, Anduril is the sword carried by Aragorn in the film Lord of the Rings.
For those who may not know its history here's the story;
At the end of the second age of Middle Earth, the blade of the Narsil sword was shattered, as Elendil fell during the last Alliance of Elves and Men. Elendil's son used the broken hilt to sever The One Ring from Sauron's finger, breaking the bonds of his evil power.
The shards of Aduril were kept in Rivendell, the house of Elrond. Legend foretold that one day the sword would be re-forged and the King would return.
In the film Return of the King the Anduril sword was reformed from the shards of Narsil by the elevensmiths of Rivendell and given to Aragorn.
The blald is enscribed on both sides in the Tolkien language of Quenya which roughly translates as I am Andoeril who was Narsil, the sword of Elendil. Let the thralls of Mordor flee me.
Overall Length 52.5 inches approx.
Blade length 40.5 inches approx.
The sword is supplied with a wooden display plaque.
