Fyvie Castle

Fyvie Castle, with its labyrinth of richly furnished rooms, has been a National Trust for Scotland property since 1984.   It has the most romantic setting being surrounded by ancient woodlands, on the left bank of the river Yathan in the lowlands of Aberdeenshire. This Fyvie Castle Wedding cake is made of chocolate, except for the front porch which is a small rich brandied fruit cake for the bride's future Mom-in-Law.

Ghosts, legends and myth are all woven into the rich tapestry of Fyvie Castle's eight hundred year old history.   Fyvie castle is reputed to be haunted by "the lady in the long green dress" as well as being cursed by Thomas the Rhymer.

" Many thanks again for a wonderful cake. We had many compliments on both the design and the taste.

Luisa"

Below is the chapel, a separate building at Fyvie Castle ~ so even more chocolate cake!
