Skibo Castle
A stunning five feet high Wedding Cake made for a beautiful young actress and her internationally famous entrepreneur husband. The richly layered Wedding Cake was displayed in the panelled Library of Skibo Castle with the catering staff on hand to help. Cheerful and muscular young chefs and porters helped to lift the multi tiered cake sections in position before final decoration.
Sunlight streamed through the windows to back light over two hundred hand crafted giant sugar roses. The theme for the cake was champagne, ivory and white and each delicate sugar rose was added individually on the morning of the Wedding.
The cake was the delight of the Celebrity Wedding Party and there are whispers that Rainbow Sugarcraft may be summonsed to L.A. for more celebrity cakes but for now they are more than happy making more modest Wedding Cake designs for delivery to venues throughout Scotland.
