Waterfall

Although there are no waterfalls in Venice the idea of this cake appealed to the bride and groom who got engaged in the most romantic of Italian cities.  They asked for a golden Venetian bridge and typical black gondola all made out of sugar, as is the cascading waterfall effect. 
The cake was completed at the venue by an anxious cake decorator, who was surrounded by a group of boisterous on-looking guests!
