Catherine

A beautiful cake for a beautiful lady. This cake was made to celebrate the Wedding of the twenty-first Lady Laird of Traquair ~ Catherine Maxwell Stuart.   Catherine has a somewhat tenuous claim to the Scottish throne so this cake could be said to be by Royal Appointment.

The top tier included Peach Roses and buds, trailing Variegated Ivy, Stephanotis, Jasmine, Freesias and Gypsophila.  The sides were decorated with sugarcraft pillars, columns and vases filled with Lily of the Valley and gypsophila.
