Gingerbread House

...as they came nearer, they saw that the house was built of bread, and covered with cakes.  'We must have some of that,' said Hansel.  'I will eat some of the roof Gretel, you can have part of the window as it tastes sweet.'  Hansel reached up high and broke off a piece of the roof to see how it tasted, and Gretel stood next to the window and nibbled off a piece.  Then, from inside the room, a high voice called,
'Crack, crack, crunch, who is nibbling at my house?'
The children answered,
The wind, the wind, the heavenly wind' and carried on eating, without concern.
